  1. Michael Ong we can use this topic to "introduce " ourselves. Maybe like you mentioned we can write about ourselves, physical description( not too detailed though), how naughty we were, why we were known as "Marlat" , "Gianto" " Sengget" "Barber" "School Runner" etc etc.

This would certainly "strike up" memories.
I certainly wish the rest of the brothers would jump in the wagon and lets' have fun.
    Cheers!

I am Anthony Kim from Kampong Simee. My brother and I joined SMI in 1957 in Std. One.

Std. One - Miss Tan (don't know full name)
Std. Two - (Can't remember. This year many teachers come and go without completing the whole year.
Std. Three - Mrs Teh (don't know full name)
Std. Four - Mrs. Goh (don't know full name)
Std. Five - Mr. Foo Yee Poh
Std. Six - Mr. Foo Yee Poh
Form One - Bro. Lawrence Augustus
Form Two - Mr. Clement Manikam
Form Three - Mr. John Lee
Form Four - Mr. Chan Hon Yew
Form Five - Mr. Wong Kee Fah.

From Std. Three onwards until Form Five, my brother, Francis and I were in the same class. In fact in Form Four and Form Five there were three pairs of brothers in the same class.

Started working in United Engineers, Lahat Road, in 1970 and happened to be the junior colleague of Lee Beng Khoon, our own classmate in Forms Four and Five.
In 1976 I left for KL to join the Medical Sales line. In 1982 we sold the Kampong Simee house and brought my parents to KL together with Francis.

In the mid 90s Robert managed to contact us and that was the beginning of our Reunion Dinners starting with the first dinner at Collesium Restaurant at Taman Tun Dr. Ismail. The biggest gathering was after the memorial Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church for the late Rev. Bro. U. Paul. After that Robert left with his family for USA.

We had another grand Reunion Dinner with the first visit of Andrew Taveira all the way from Australia. Andrew came a few time followed by Kenneth Yoong.

    Well the rest was history.

My name is Michael Philip Ong, in the net I am known as Mehong3, in my school days, I can't remember who taught me in standard 1 to 6 and form 1 to 5, I got married young, and thus I missed out all the fun you guys were having.

I am proud to say I enjoy my married life, and being a father at a young age was difficult but the reward to see them grow up is great. I have 2 children, my eldest is a girl, her name is Hazel, she is now 35 and doing very well. Married 6 years ago but still do not want to give me a grand child yet.

I like to show you my family, I had produced a video clip of my spouse's 56th birthday,

My son is 28, he is the talented guy, he wanted to be an artiste during his form 4, and told me he wanted to go KL to become a rapper. You know what happened, 3rd world war in the house. I finally approved and the rest is history. In the video clip, Ipohmali, the intro was enacting of the scene that happened.

If you view this video clip, then you know why the mother objected him going to KL.

The third person I like to introduce is my grand Kai Loi, Tan Yee Jade, she became part of my family when her mother nanny left, they were our neighbour, she insist Gladys to help her out, thus she became her nanny at 1 year old. She is such a cute girl that my son "kai" her as his "kai loi". Here is a video clip I produced with her pictures.

Ok, my life is still missing because I still do not have my own grand children, I pray that God will give me one soon, before I am called back to him.

My intro is a bit long sorry guys.

Here is Darrell, he is looking forward to contact anyone who knows him.

    Message:
Hi there, my name is Darrell Kong Kai Chee. I went to St Michael in 1957 as a Standard one student. From Standard 2 to 6, I went to the new building built next door called Primary one. Because I flunked my Malay, I can only attend afternoon class at St Michael from Form one to Form three.(1963 to1965). Whoever read these must be confusing? But, judging from your class Form 5 in 1967, I might have knew some of you folks from the primary school from 1957 to 1962.
