Ok if you are in Washington DC , remember home cooking is just round the corner. The Malaysia Kopitiam is one of the few Malaysian Restaurants in DC. and is certainly the best. The ingredients are all imported from Malaysia if it is not available locally . You shall be surprised to see how many Malaysian ingredients are available here in the Asian Marts and in some Chain Stores. Kopitiam is located at 1827 M Street NW, Washington DC, 20036. It is actually between 18th and 19th Sreet. on M. here one can find Roti Cani , Mamak Mee Goreng, Char Koay Teow, Mee Siam, Asam Laksa, Curry Laksa, Yong Tau Foo, and many more noodle based entrees. Then there are the Chicken Rendang, Beef rendang, Chicken Curry and Lamb Curry. Appertisers... Satay, Popiah, Ceee Cheong Fun, Otak2, Lo Bak. Other entrees ..Nasi Lemak, Ikan Bakar, Hainanese Chicken Rice,Malaysian Fired Rice Fried Ikan Kembong and so much more . I need more time to pen down all the items. Oh yeah , there is Curry Puffs and Ice Kacang You will be pleasantly surprised to find how authentic the meals are. Yummy, Yummy Good for your Tummy ( This is the slogan for a Chinese fast food outlet here.)
